Descanso, 2006. I grew up with Descanso Gardens in my hometown of La Canada, and I can remember yearly school field trips to see it, and also performing with my grade school chorus there. in 2006 I came back for my high school reunion, and see them once more. reunionAlthough the weather was hot, the pergola and benches around this fountain gave me the inspiration to name this after the Spanish for rest.
