Horseshoe Bay in winter, 2006. This was my second trip to Whistler BC to ski and on the way back my partner and I timed it so we could have lunch in my favorite restaurant in Horseshoe Bay just outside Vancouver. It's a wonderful small town on the water, quiet and tranquil, the silence broken only by the sounds of the Ferry horns as they come in to dock. Anytime of the year it's beautiful and if I could, I'd live there in a heartbeat just so I could stare out at this view forever.
