Artist's Description

The Woodsman's Cross, 2005. In Eastern Washington is the town of Roslyn. Once a bustling coal mining town, it's now a quiet, sleepy place where you can literally stand in the intersection at high noon on a weekday and not see a car for a good long time. It's also home to 26 different cemeteries and one of which houses this unique and interesting gravestone with it's rustic detail work.
