Artist's Description
Witness to History (1906-2006), 2006. The clock of A. Page Brown's Ferry Bldg has looked down on the history of Market St and The Embarcadero since 1898 when it was built to replace the old Ferry Bldg from 1875. About C Thomas Cooney
I was born and raised in Southern California and spent my life on the West Coast. In 2002 I became the third generation of my family to live in Washington after moving from San Francisco. Thanks Michael! I'm so glad you like them and I hope you enjoy them for many years to come. Actually I'll be in San Francisco next week for a visit, and weather permitting I am planning on doing some location shots in Marin, Oakland and Sonoma as well as various parts of the city.

I just purchased this and also purchased "Gothic Glory." I love them both! I live in SF and wanted something on my walls to relect the City, but I didn't want a well-known landmark (e.g., GG Bridge) so these are perfect. I hope someday you are back in the Bay Area and can take some Frank Lloyd Wright pictures like the Marin Civic Center. Good work!
